Provide expert input into IT strategy and Information Systems (IS) business architecture.

Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, document and prioritise requirements.

Facilitate workshops, interviews and process mapping sessions to validate business needs and anticipate impacts.

Develop and maintain functional and non-functional requirements and contribute to Business Case analysis, Project Charters.

Perform business process analysis modelling (As Is / To Be).

Elicit and specify requirements using use cases and related techniques.

Draft, review and validate use cases and other technical documents together with IT project teams to ensure business requirements will be adequately implemented.

Act as a liaison between end users, technical analysts, consultants and other organisations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of IT systems to ensure optimal operational performance.

Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes.

Assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.

Assist with the production of user acceptance testing plans, test cases.

Provide functional guidance to technical teams and act as a team lead on designated projects or assignments.

Analyze the integration of different information systems.

Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.

Assist during testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting phases

B2 level of English minimum. Any knowledge of French is an asset. 

Very good knowledge and experience in drafting functional / business use cases

Good knowledge of interoperability technology (Service Oriented Architecture, web services, message-oriented middleware).

Good knowledge and experience with modelling and analysis tools (e.g. Draw.io, Camunda Modeler, Visio, Gliffy, Enterprise Architect).

Knowledge and experience with UI mockup tools (e.g. Balsamiq)

Knowledge and experience with Agile / SCRUM

Knowledge relational database is an asset (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)

Knowledge and experience with Atlassian Confluence and Atlassian JIRA is an asset

Knowledge and experience with a project management methodology is an asset (e.g. PM², PMI, Prince2)

Knowledge of an Object-Oriented programming language is an asset (e.g. Java, Python)

Experience and knowledge with European Commission IT landscape is an asset.

Experience in document and workflow-based information systems is an asset.

Certification (Desirable): CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), demonstrating advanced domain expertise in business analysis practices is an asset
