Ensure alignment between the business needs and the architecture of the solution

Review all technical analysis performed by the IT external development company

Support the Project manager on the decisions to take

Review the proposals of DG EMPL for synergies with other IT systems

Support the Project Manager in all decisions related to IT developments

Risk and issue analysis, propose mitigation paths

Interaction with other architects, business analysts, business owners, project manager, external development company

B2 level of English minimum. Any knowledge of French is an asset.

Extensive experience of IT developments and IT architecture

At least 10 years of specific expertise in Java development

At least 5 years of specific expertise in Knowledge in UML modelling (diagrams)

At least 5 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of EC corporate components of architecture (EU Login, EU Send, …)

Ability to communicate orally and in written in a clear and efficient manner

Ability to draft, improve and document architecture decisions, propose several solutions with pros, cons and risks

Ability to model diagrams in UML standards

Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences

Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
